Windmill or Solar Panels?

DIY Off Grid Considerations

Is a DIY off grid plan actually the answer for your challenging energy bills?  Or do you need professional help? Is renewable free energy finally the answer for you?  Free energy bills can be completely eradicated with a DIY off grid solution.  But doesn't going off grid cost too much?  This article will answer those questions.

DIY Off Grid Options

Wind power is a feasible option to go off grid.  If you live in an area that has constant wind, then making a windmill is very beneficial.  However, free energy will stop being rendered as soon as the wind stops blowing.  Use a battery to store free energy while the wind is blowing and then energy can still be used when the wind dies.

Solar electricity has minimal differences in advantages and disadvantages when compared to windmills.  Solar power is extraordinary for the sunny climates such as deserts.  Utah, Arizona, eastern California, Colorado and areas around those states are a fantastic climate to build solar panels.  Similarly, the deserts in Africa would be ideal.  Just like windmills, solar panels do not generate electricity all the time.  During nighttime, you're solar panels create no electricity.  When the path between the sun and the solar panel is open, you receive free free energy from the sun.

What's the Cost For DIY Off Grid Choices?

Specifications for the wind and solar ideas alter the prices.  As an example, a 1kW solar aray costs $6000.  However, if you construct your own solar panels from broken solar cells, you can minimize this cost to less than $100.

Wind power has like costs to solar power and costs around $4500 for a wind generator and a 50 ft tower.  Build your own windmills and save loads of money in construction.  How much effort do you want to do to save money?  Going off grid with DIY off grid solar and wind free energy IS a feasible alternative, despite what other sources say online.
